Book a consultationThree considered stages, clearly explained at each point.
Initial consultation to discuss the procedure, answer questions, and assess suitability.
The procedure is performed in our sterile clinic with appropriate anaesthesia and pain management.
Clear aftercare instructions provided, with follow-up appointments to ensure proper healing.
The procedure typically takes 30-45 minutes, though you should allow 2 hours for your appointment including preparation and recovery time.
The preferred method of circumcision is the plastibell (ring method), however in older patients cut & stitch is often used.
Local anaesthesia is used to minimise discomfort during the procedure. Post-procedure pain is generally mild and manageable with pain medication provided by us.
The healing process usually takes 7 days.
The reccomended age range for the procedure is 2-3 weeks. Having circumcision done in the early years is easier and often less problematic compared to when older.
